Informácia o ukončení podpory OS Windows XP

Oficiálna podpora operačného systému Windows XP bola síce ukončená už 8.4.2014, avšak na mnohých pracoviskách sa z rôznych dôvodov tento OS používa dodnes. Bezpečnosť používania tohto starého operačného systému bola možná vďaka antivírusovej ochrane spoločnosti ESET. Spoločnosť ESET nám oznámila, že podpora OS Windows XP z jej strany bude v tomto roku ukončená. Na základe tejto skutočnosti je potrebné:

  1. prekontrolovať, či sa na pracovisku nachádza počítač s OS Windows XP,
  2. ak áno, potom je potrebné požiadať CIT o jeho preinštalovanie na novšiu verziu, a to cez HelpDesk  resp. kl 6730.

Počítače, na ktoré nebude možné nainštalovať novší operačný systém, budú odpojené zo siete TUZVOnet, nakoľko ich používanie predstavuje bezpečnostné riziko. Takéto počítače bude potrebné nahradiť novšími modelmi.

Termín ukončenia používania operačných systémov Windows XP na TUZVO je 30.9.2018.
